“Work like hell, tell everyone everything you know, close a deal with a handshake, and have fun.”                         – Harold Egerton

Kasey Edgerton is an artist and media professional residing in New York, working primarily with experimental new media, and biological elements (bioart). She looks at the permeable boundaries between real and imagined, science and magic, objective and subjective.

Kasey explores embodiment, co-collaboration with other species and AIs, and the nature of spirituality and human experience in our increasingly digitized and hyperconnected world. Through her work she hopes to reveal new ways for us to coexist with technology and the biological world.

Kasey holds an M.F.A. in Visual Studies from the Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester NY, a B.A. in English from The University at Albany, an A.A.S. in Fashion Management from SUNY GCC, and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Museum Studies at Harvard University. She is also currently studying Biodesign & Regenerative and Ecological Design with Ecodemia based in London.

Kasey is currently proud to serve on the Board of Directors for GoArt! (Genesee-Orleans Regional Arts Council).

She is also a Member by Descent of the Society of the Founders of Norwich, Inc.
